WEST COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – Omega Construction broke ground on its most recent hotel project located in West Columbia on Friday, January 17th. Representatives from Omega Construction, Solara Hospitality, the state of South Carolina and Marriott Hotels spoke on the importance of development and growth of the West Columbia area.
“We have a great need over here in West Columbia for wonderful, full-service hotels. I’m certain this is going to be a wonderful project when it gets done,” says Tem Miles, mayor of West Columbia.
TownePlace Suite is a brand operated by Marriott International and is part of the extended stay lodging segment of the hospitality industry. At this location, the hotel will include four stories, 111 guestrooms and just over 64,000 square feet of amenities.
