OMEGA BEGINS RENOVATIONS AT JEKYLL ISLAND RESORT

SAVANNAH, GA – Omega Construction’s Georgia Division is set to begin work September 7th on its latest project, the exterior renovations of Villas by the Sea Resort and Conference Center on Jekyll Island. Operating as a hotel, Villas by the Sea is a unique oceanside community nestled among 17 acres of picturesque oaks and offers one, two- or three-bedroom villas for daily, weekly and monthly rentals. Conveniently located next to Driftwood Beach, each villa is a privately owned, fully furnished condominium, many with ocean views. A 7,000 square foot Conference Center for meetings, weddings and reunions, along with a full-service restaurant, pool and other amenities, add to the allure of this popular resort.

“We are extremely excited to have Omega Construction working with us on this major property improvement”, said Dick Coyle, General Manager of Villas by the Sea. “This project is an important undertaking, as we need to remain competitive with other hotel expansion currently underway on Jekyll Island”.

Omega’s work on the resort’s twenty buildings will include full exterior renovations along with roof replacements, new aluminum railings, exterior lighting and landscaping.

“When the upgraded exteriors are unveiled at Villas by the Sea, visitors will be impressed by how well they complement the Island’s stunning natural surroundings” said Scott Fournier, Omega’s Lead Estimator and Project Manager. “Exceeding our clients’ expectation is our passion and we are eager to get started on this exciting project for the Villas by the Sea team” said Fournier.

The renovations are expected to be complete in late 2021. For more information about Villas by the Sea, visit VillasbytheSeaResort.com
