Millennium Charter Academy is an independent public school serving K-12 students. The school was completed in five phases, beginning with the elementary school in 2000, a gymnasium in 2001, middle school and athletic fields in 2005, phase 1 of the high school in 2014, and phase 2 of the high school along with construction of a new gymnasium facility in 2018. Phase 1 of the high school is an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Merit Award winner. This project was constructed adjacent to wetlands, requiring the construction team to work in compliance with applicable regulations and statutes. Different phases of this project were completed ahead of schedule to work around the academic school calendar to ensure the facilities were ready before the upcoming school year began.
