MacAljon Fabrication has awarded the construction of their new state of the art industrial fabrication facility to Omega Construction of Pilot Mountain, NC. The ground breaking was last week in Chatham County at 4526 Ogeechee Road in Savannah, Georgia. The new fabrication shop is a 30,000 square foot facility standing over 50’ tall dedicated to vessel and structural steel fabrication. The new facility will allow MacAljon Fabrication to continue employing the latest technology for in-shop fabrication services in order to deliver the highest levels of quality and efficiency to their ever-growing client base.
Omega’s management team will consist of Kirk Matthews, P.E., Project Manager and Alvin Cody, Superintendent. Kirk has 9 years experience in the construction industry and received a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from UNC Charlotte. He obtained his LEED AP credentials from the US Green Building Council. Kirk’s project experience includes his recent completion of Caesarstone Technologies Manufacturing plant in Richmond Hill, GA. Alvin has over 25 years’ experience in the industrial and commercial construction markets.
