HanesTowne Village is a sprawling 33-acre site of commercial development with 32,000 square feet of retail space in the heart of Winston-Salem. The project involved the demolition of a 600,000-square-foot textile mill on a 26-acre site and comprehensive infrastructure improvements involving reinforced soil slopes, segmental retaining walls, as well as cast in place concrete retaining walls. HanesTowne Village repurposed and revitalized this section of Stratford Road and gave national tenants like Starbucks, Fleet Feet Sports, and Sleepy’s Mattress a new place to call home. Turnkey out parcel development and site work were also completed for LA Fitness, PF Chang’s, The Bank of North Carolina, and the Walmart Neighborhood Market.
