The Georgia International Trade Center, commonly known as GITC, is Savannah’s newest rail-served light industrial and manufacturing park.

Located less than 10 miles from Georgia Port Authority’s (GPA) Garden City Terminal. The site can accommodate 7.2 million square feet of industrial development buildings ranging in size from 155,000 to 1,265,000 square feet and includes CSX rail serve with direct access to the port. Currently, construction has officially finished on phase one of GITC. This milestone marks a 12-month period that where 2.5 million square feet of new warehouse development was constructed. Omega’s initial scope of work includes the construction of buildings 1A, 1B, 1D, 2B, and approximately two miles of on-site road work and off-site DOT improvements.

Shaw Flooring, Building 1D at Georgia International Trade Center

Located just under 10 miles from GA Port Authority, Omega continues to progress at the Georgia International Trade Center with the delivery of Building 1D for Shaw Flooring.

Shaw Industries Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturers, added to their warehouse and distribution facilities at the Georgia International Trade Center with the lease of Building 1D and Building 2B. Built to suit Shaw’s specific distribution needs, Omega worked diligently to provide one of the quickest turnovers the team has ever seen on a nearly 800,000 square foot warehouse project. To date, Omega continues to work on-site to deliver three more buildings within the trade center.
