Omega Construction was selected to provide design/build services for the construction of the Gentry Family Funeral Home facility in East Bend which is the third location for the family-owned business. The project was completed in approximately 10 months. The building was a pre-engineered frame with standing seam roof and split-face masonry exterior walls. The structure included a 2500 sf covered canopy for vehicle parking during inclement weather as well as a drive through bay for hearse traffic. The facility layout includes a chapel, large entry foyer for visitors, casket display area, embalming room, administrative offices and two large visitation rooms with folding panel wall that allows the visitation rooms to the split into four smaller rooms.
