The AAA Car Care project located in Richmond is a unique project where existing street-side century-old historical brick walls were carefully left intact while the remainder of the building and structure were demolished and reconstructed. The new structure was built inside of the existing walls to maintain the historical integrity and street appeal of the original building, all while giving AAA Car Care a completely new operating facility. This 8,750-square-foot facility required intricate demolition work to maintain the existing brick walls and build a new steel structure inside the existing brick walls. This new facility incorporates both retail sales and a state-of-the-art eight-bay car service area. The building was designed and constructed utilizing the latest trend in building materials and was also constructed on zero lot lines on two sides of the building with existing neighboring buildings on all 4 sides of the property.
