This 1.3 million square foot warehouse and distribution center stands completed in the Savannah River International Trade Park in Savannah, Georgia. The build-to-suit project utilized Omega’s fast-track, design-build delivery method on the 120-acre site requiring grading, lime and cement soil stabilization, installation of a private sewer lift station, water and sewer utilities, and 765,000 square feet of concrete paving. Components of the construction include a conventional structural steel and bar joist frame, concrete tilt-up wall panels, a TPO single-ply roofing system, and an unreinforced concrete slab. The new facility serves as a warehouse and distribution center for JLA Homes, a globally integrated home furnishing and furniture company delivering quality, originality, and value for its consumers.
