Crossroads South’s new fabrication shop is a 45,000 sqft facility standing over 35’ tall.  The new facility will allow the MacAljon Family of Companies to continue employing the latest technology for in-shop fabrication as well as improve their rapid response services as they continue the highest levels of services to existing Industry through-out the Southeast.  Omega’s scope included design, sitework, building construction, utility systems installation and technical procurement assistance. The project delivery method was design-build, and significant coordination with process equipment layout and installation was required. The building includes a 8” reinforced Slab on Grade, Pre-Engineered Metal Building with standing seam metal roof, 5,000 sf of executive and support office staff and features (2) 25 ton & (2) 10 ton bridge cranes.
